Acupuncture
Traditional Chinese Medicine is rooted in the concept of balance. When the body is out of balance, we experience disease which can manifest as physical, mental, or emotional illness with a wide range of symptoms.
Acupuncture uses ultrafine needles to stimulate specific points on the body to prompt change, trigger the body’s natural healing process, and ultimately bring the body back into a state of harmony. Through acupuncture, key systems are activated such as the nervous, immune and endocrine systems, blood flow is restored, and the circulation of Qi (energy) is improved.
Acupuncture is an effective treatment for a variety of concerns including acute or chronic pain, injuries, anxiety, stress management, chronic headaches, migraines, arthritis, digestive issues, women’s health concerns, insomnia, and overall relaxation.

Facial Rejuvenation
A holistic treatment to target common skin concerns including fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scarring, dull skin, muscle tension, and overall skin health. Specialized techniques and needles are used to stimulate collagen production, relax or tighten muscle tone, improve circulation, and increase the circulation of Qi (energy) to the face to nourish the skin and muscles. All facial rejuvenation appointments are paired with Celluma LED Light Therapy to enhance the treatment and body points to address internal issues that may be reflected on the skin. Tools such as gua sha, facial cupping, and jade rolling may be included in your treatment.
For the best results, a series of 5-8 sessions is recommended within 2 months, followed by one touch up session every 6-8 weeks. If you recently had Botox or filler, please wait 3 weeks before booking. This treatment is not suitable for pregnant patients.

Cupping Therapy
This is a no needle treatment. Traditional Fire Cupping uses suction to mobilize the fascia and muscles to remove stagnation, increase blood flow, and balance the flow of Qi (energy) in the body. The result is released muscle tension, pain relief, improved circulation, and relaxation. Cupping is also effective to pull excess heat from the body and support the immune system.

Photobiomodulation Therapy
Photobiomodulation, also known as low-level-light therapy, uses Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology to deliver specific wavelengths of light energy to support the body's natural healing process.
Various wavelengths of light penetrate the skin, reach the cellular level, and boost the activity of the mitochondria to stimulate energy production in the form of ATP. The result is enhanced cellular function. This process can: reduce inflammation, improve blood flow and oxygen delivery, aid in relieving arthritic pain, support tissue repair and wound healing, kill acne bacteria, and stimulate fibroblast activity to boost collagen and elastin production.
Zakiya uses FDA-cleared Celluma Light Therapy in her practice. It is non-invasive, painless, and does not use harmful UV rays.
